Administrator - The company that processes your claims, works with your repair facility, and pays for your repair work. SC works with one of the industry's highest-rated administrators, providing only the best service possible.
ASE Certified - Auto mechanic certification program developed by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence. To attain certification, mechanics must pass at least one exam and provide proof of at least two years of relevant work experience. SC only deals with the most experienced ASE Certified mechanics to get your drivers’ issues appropriately resolved.
Deductible – A specified amount of money the insured must pay before an insurance company pays a claim. Inclusionary Coverage – A service contract list of every vehicle part covered by the contract. Only the parts listed are Included. SC includes options for drivers to have the exact coverage they’ll need.
Obligor – The insurance company that insures the Administrator to ensure they have sufficient financial backing at all times to pay claims.
Make – The manufacturer that built your vehicle. SC can rate any make or model.
Manufacturer – The company that made your vehicle.
Model – The specific type of vehicle.
Rental Reimbursement – An optional coverage that helps cover the costs of a rental car while it is being repaired due to a covered claim. SC understands the importance of keeping you on the; that’s why all our protection products already include Rental Reimbursement.
Roadside Assistance – A service designed to help you get going again if your vehicle breaks down. Some benefit include changing a flat tire, jumping your battery, towing, delivering gas, and retrieving keys inside a locked car. Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) – A vehicle identification number, or VIN, identifies your car.
